Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an e-Commerce Sales Associate to interact with hundreds of customers online, by phone and in person, guiding their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle environment and responding to leads quickly to move them from online contact to an in-store experience.

You’ll help customers select the right vehicle, negotiate terms that fit their budgets, close the deal, and follow up after purchase to ensure satisfaction and a smooth ownership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to leads online, over the phone and in person to guide customers from initial inquiry to in-store experience.
• Help customers select their perfect vehicle and negotiate terms to fit budgets and lifestyles.
• Close the deal and transition customers to the Service department for ongoing ownership support.
• Follow up after purchase to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
