Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic to perform structural repairs and modifications to aircraft and associated equipment. You will apply technical knowledge from manuals and schematics, use shop equipment, and maintain records.

The role requires corrosion detection expertise, and the ability to work with engineering teams to ensure air-worthiness. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, familiarity with aircraft systems, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have three or more years as an Airframe Structural Mechanic.
• Familiar with aircraft systems, tools, drawings and schematics.
• Experience with corrosion detection, treatment and prevention.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.
• English reading/writing/speaking required; valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs structural repairs, modifications and equipment maintenance on aircraft.
• Interpret manuals, schematics and technical publications to troubleshoot and repair.
• Set up and use shop tools and fixtures for structural maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation (MAF/NALCOMIS).
• Provide technical guidance and instruction to staff; ensure safety and quality.
• May perform off-site service and engine/rigging work as required.
