Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, landing gear, engines, and systems on the Naval Test Wing Atlantic program in Patuxent River, MD.

The role requires working with specialized tools and documentation to maintain safe flying condition. Expect to perform preflight and postflight inspections, use torque wrenches and test equipment, and coordinate with supervisors on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair.
• Two to four years of recent aircraft maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Inspect, repair, or replace mechanical, electrical, and structural systems on aircraft.
• Lead and supervise teams on more complex maintenance tasks as required.
