Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• ERP support experience, ideally in a Microsoft Partner or end-user environment.
• Strong knowledge of core BC functionality: Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory.
• Ability to diagnose system issues and manage support requests effectively.
• Understanding of BC administration, configuration and user permissions.
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Analytical approach and ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Pearson Carter are working with a growing Microsoft Partner who are looking to recruit a Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Consultant. Offering a salary of up to £50,000 and fully remote working, this is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team, providing technical support and helping customers get the most out of their Business Central systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Analyse and resolve technical issues, investigating support tickets through to resolution
• Manage system configuration, user access, permissions and environment maintenance
• Provide support across key modules, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory
• Assist with system upgrades, software releases, testing and implementation of enhancements
• Collaborate with functional consultants and developers to troubleshoot complex issues
• Support customers with system queries, user training and best-practice guidance
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge base resources
• Build strong customer relationships, ensuring issues are handled efficiently and professionally

Required Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Previous experience in an ERP support role, ideally within a Microsoft Partner or end-user environment
• Good knowledge of core Business Central functionality, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory
• Proven ability to diagnose system issues and manage support requests effectively
• Understanding of Business Central administration, configuration and user permissions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
• A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to prioritise support cases and manage a varied workflow

Desirable Experience:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps
• Knowledge of SQL, database structures and Business Central data
• Experience troubleshooting integrations with external systems and third-party applications
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central qualifications or certifications
• Experience working within a Microsoft Dynamics Partner environment
