Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks an online teacher to lead core content instruction and deliver engaging live lessons via web conferences. You will setup courses in the LMS, monitor progress, and provide daily feedback while maintaining strong communication with families.

The role emphasizes culturally responsive teaching, differentiates instruction, and requires occasional travel for state testing and student events across the network.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in an appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• High quality written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor for core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Complete course setup in the Learning Management System.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and grades daily.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to deliver Progress Reports.
• Support planning and execution of in‑person tests and events as required.
