Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking Summer Camp Counselors to help create a memorable program for children aged 6 – 12. Responsibilities include supervising activities and ensuring compliance with childcare licensing requirements. Candidates must possess the appropriate certifications and be comfortable working with children in an active environment.

The position will require adherence to policies and a positive role model presence, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am - 6pm.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older for Level I, 20 for Level II and III.
• First Aid/CPR Certification required within two months of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points for Level II and III.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of a quality summer club program for school-age children.
• Supervise children directly and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements.
• Deliver age-appropriate programs reflecting core program areas.
