Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a store with energy, ownership, and purpose. This role supports the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and maintaining store operations to deliver a great customer experience.

The ASM leads on duty, helps hire and train staff, and drives execution with a customer-first mindset. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required in our fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

1+ year of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key holding role.
Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, self motivated, and ready to take ownership.
Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

Lead by example on the sales floor with an energy mindset, bringing confidence and solutions to every customer interaction.
Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
