Placements24 is seeking a creative Sports Event Planner to lead the conception, planning, and execution of local to regional sports events in the Paarl area. You will manage budgets, vendors, timelines, and on-site logistics to deliver memorable experiences for participants and spectators.

Ideal candidates will have proven event planning experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask across multiple events while working evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of sports events, from local to regional, including venue, budget, and scheduling.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Develop event timelines and critical path activities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee event registration, ticketing, and on-site logistics.
• Coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote events.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and insurance requirements.
