ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education in Illinois is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead instructional programs for Elementary School students with IEPs, delivering personalized learning experiences in learning centers or classrooms. The role emphasizes PBIS, differentiated instruction, and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualified candidates hold IL PEL credential or are in process, SSE or LBS1, and have experience with curriculum development and behavior support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• IL PEL credential in process or active.
• IL SSE or LBS1 licensure in process or hold.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
• Experience with curriculum development and differentiation.
• Experience in alternative/special education settings.
• Experience with IEPs and behavior support planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction using innovative resources.
• Create lesson plans aligned to standards and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with staff and families for student progress.
• Maintain documentation and progress reports.
