Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an Elementary School learning center. You will design dynamic, personalized lessons for students with IEPs, delivering differentiated instruction and coordinating with staff to meet educational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field and IL PEL credential in progress or active.
• IL SSE or LBS1 credential in progress or active.
• Experience with IEPs, curriculum development and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for Elementary School students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction and personalized lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Collaborate in co-teaching environments and differentiate instruction.
• Track progress, document files, and generate reports on student outcomes.
• Maintain PBIS-enriched classroom climate and family engagement.
