Job summary

Rush Creek Elementary in Osseo Area Schools ISD 279 is hiring an Educational Support Professional (Special Education) for a temporary, part-time position in Maple Grove. The role supports the special education teacher, works with individual or small groups, and contributes to data collection and materials management.

The position requires HQ by start date, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and eligibility through ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HQ status by start date required per MN Dept of Education.
• Two years of college (60 credits) or an associate's degree or higher accepted.
• Passing score on ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the student’s special education instructional plans and behavior management as directed by the supervising teacher.
• Support individuals or small groups in all settings where the program is delivered.
• Collect observational data and report to the supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested by the supervising teacher.
• Complete forms and data entry related to the student as directed.
