Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HQ to work as a special education paraprofessional by start date.
• Two years of college credits or an associate's degree or passing ParaPro as alternate HQ.
• The District will pay for the ParaPro assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the students' instructional plans including behavior management.
• Support individual or small groups of students as assigned by the supervising teacher.
• Collect observational data and report to the supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested.
• Complete educational forms and student data as directed.
