Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools is seeking a special education paraprofessional in Sauk Rapids, MN. You will assist student(s) with instruction, social skills, and routine tasks, and monitor safety during the school day.

Responsibilities include collecting progress data, supporting students with extreme behaviors, and collaborating with supervising teachers. A High School diploma and MDE paraprofessional qualifications are required; position runs August 31 through December 8, 2026, with hours

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Accepts direction from supervising teachers and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs throughout the day with instruction in basic skills, social skills, and routine assistance.
• Supervise special education students to ensure safety.
• Assist with collecting and monitoring student progress data.
