Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a professional kitchen
• Culinary degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
• Develop and maintain seasonal menus
• Train new kitchen staff and promote teamwork
• Ensure timely and quality presentation of food dishes
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Assist in creating budget plans and managing kitchen expenses
