Houston Grand Hotel in Houston, TX seeks an Executive Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations for hotel restaurants and room service. You will oversee production, ensure quality, and uphold HEI franchise standards in a fast-paced luxury setting.

The role requires solid culinary leadership, hotel operations knowledge, and the ability to manage costs while mentoring a culinary team toward exceptional guest experiences.

Qualificações

• Two+ years of post high school education; culinary education is desirable.
• Five+ years of employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of food/beverage management, budgeting, and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, manage, and review daily kitchen production for hotel restaurants and room service.
• Lead the kitchen team; hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff; ensure safety and sanitation.
• Control labor and food costs; monitor budgets and standard costs.
• Assist with menu costing and seasonal/menu development; assume Executive Chef duties when needed.
