Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a diligent Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department for a facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, and help develop daily menus and ordering with the Executive Chef.

Ideal candidates have A.S. or equivalent, kitchen management experience, and familiarity with MS Office. The role offers a competitive salary of $58k–$58,500 plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent culinary training is required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience is preferred.
• Catering experience is a plus.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Proficient with computers; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook.
• Willing to participate in client satisfaction programs.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditures.
• Assist in planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs in coordination with marketing and culinary teams.
