Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department at a participating facility. You will supervise and cook, develop menus, and support the Executive Chef in cost control and operations.

Strong kitchen management, high-volume cooking, and familiarity with MS Office are preferred. A.S. or equivalent experience plus ServSafe certification are highly regarded. Competitive salary and a $2,500 sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience desired.
• Catering experience a plus.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, cost controls, sanitation, and presentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and email/Internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures.
• Assist with planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
