Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department at a facilities site. You will assist in supervising, preparing, and cooking diverse items, help develop daily menus, and support ordering.

This role suits an energetic culinary professional eager to contribute to menu innovation and client satisfaction. You may supervise hourly staff and collaborate with the Executive Chef to implement new programs and control costs.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience is preferred.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
• Must be experienced with computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• ServSafe certified is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists in planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team.
