Job summary

Northside Auto in Watertown, WI is seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our team full time. You will be the face of our shop, greeting customers, documenting issues, and coordinating with technicians to deliver accurate estimates and clear repair plans.

The ideal candidate has customer-service experience, strong communication, basic knowledge of automotive systems, and comfort with shop software. A valid driver’s license and a team-player attitude are required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as service advisor or similar preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance.
• Proficiency with shop management software or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and serve as the primary point of contact for all service and repair needs.
• Listen to customer concerns, document vehicle issues, and communicate them clearly to technicians.
• Prepare accurate repair orders, estimates, and invoices for automotive services.
• Provide service recommendations and upsell maintenance packages when appropriate.
• Keep customers informed on repair status, timelines, and costs throughout the process.
• Coordinate workflow between the front desk and the service bay to ensure efficiency.
• Handle customer follow-up and ensure satisfaction upon vehicle delivery.
