Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a well-rounded Windows Server Assistant to join our team. The role rotates through buffet, beverage, coffee/tea, food service, and floater duties in a fast-paced dining environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will help maintain cleanliness, efficiency and guest satisfaction in our restaurant operations. A friendly attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and handle a variety of responsibilities with efficiency.
• High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work under variable temperature conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the buffet station, ensuring items are replenished and attractively presented.
• Set and maintain dining room tables per standards, with utensils, glassware and condiments.
• Support servers by clearing and resetting tables, clearing dishes, and replenishing supplies.
• Assist bar operations with opening/closing procedures, stocking and restocking, garnish prep, and bar cleanliness.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner and address inquiries.
• Monitor cleanliness and appearance of the dining area, including floors and furniture.
• Coordinate with servers/hosts/kitchen to manage turnover and service flow.
• Assist with beverage service and delivering drinks as assigned.
• Adhere to resort policies, hygiene standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Have working knowledge of draft beer systems and keg changes.
• Communicate with the kitchen about menu questions, wait times, and availability.
• Move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
