Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Sales Development Representative to learn the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, including prospecting, client engagement, and meeting setting. This entry-level role provides a clear path toward becoming an Account Manager.

You will work with Delivery and Sales teams to build relationships, generate leads, and support revenue growth initiatives, with a base salary and incentives in a structured program.

Qualifications

• Sales degree or certification, or 1–2 years of sales experience.
• Experience with prospecting and setting meetings.
• Willing to learn and grow toward Account Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of recruiting and sales, including prospecting and client engagement.
• Identify target accounts in defined territory and make cold calls to set meetings.
• Build client relationships, generate leads, and support revenue growth initiatives.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to maximize profitability and ensure market alignment.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Directors to support territory planning and workforce strategy.
