Responsibilities

• Conduct a successful solicitation process using outside sales calls, inside appointments, phone calls, letters and direct mail.
• Spend 80% of time in active sales solicitation as a proactive sales manager.
• Assist the Director of Sales in preparing the annual marketing plan, including action plans for assigned market segments.
• Send proposals on leads that fit the property profile and actively follow through to convert to definite status.
• Obtain, document and route information on definite groups (billing, credit application, rooming list, VIP arrangements) and pass to catering for follow up.
