Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to join our field team in Pennsylvania. You will step in to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, learning multiple routes to ensure uninterrupted service for our customers.

You will load and unload garments, handle invoices, perform inventory checks, and uphold safety on the road while delivering exceptional service, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and clean driving record; must be at least 21.
• DOT compliance including a required medical physical.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently.
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate on multiple routes to deliver garments and products.
• Safely load and unload items along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with customers.
• Resolve customer requests independently to ensure satisfaction.
• Accurately manage invoices and conduct inventory audits.
• Follow traffic laws and safety policies at all times.
• Support new account installations and assist RSRs on routes; assist with rerouting and collections.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local competitor activity.
