Job summary

Michaels in Frisco, TX is seeking a Sales Manager who will lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive strong sales results, and deliver an engaging, friendly customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach teammates, implement SOPs and brand standards, and execute daily plans to achieve key KPI targets. This role requires hands-on leadership with availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviours to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive retention through consistent execution.
• Drive omni-channel service, including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
