New Balance is seeking a Retail Sales Associate at our Pocono, PA location. You will deliver exemplary customer service, apply product knowledge, and assist customers through every step of the purchase.

You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide them to the right NB products while promoting current promotions. The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Greet and make customer contact; understand needs; educate on features and benefits.
• Solve customer problems and answer questions; close sales.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate NB product.
• Inform customers about promotions; keep floor neat, stocked, and labeled.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
