New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Elizabeth, NJ store. You will deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and help customers find the right footwear and apparel while representing the New Balance brand with pride.

Requirements include being 18 or older, strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques, product knowledge, and the GUEST service model.
• Greet and make customer contact, understand the customer's needs.
• Educate the customer on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer problems and answer questions.
• Transact the sale through upselling and effective closing.
• Keep floor neat, organized, and well stocked with labeled items.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
