Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will work cross‑functionally to handle front-end duties and cash handling while maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role requires good customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods. This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow across store leadership paths.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and capable of frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
