Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding and inviting a General Manager to lead a high-energy team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will guide staff, drive guest experiences, and execute plans to meet company goals, while maintaining standards in quality, service, and cleanliness.

You will oversee staffing, training, and development, while focusing on profitability through better scheduling, cost control, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check and motor vehicle report.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Required minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent and some college preferred
• 3-5 years management experience required
• Restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to the team to create a positive culture and high morale.
• Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations focusing on staffing, development, sales growth, and cost management.
• Ensure operational standards are upheld and profitability is driven through labor cost control.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain compliance with policies, guidelines, and applicable laws.
• Complete performance reviews for crew and assist with manager reviews.
