Job summary

Zaxbys is expanding and seeks a General Manager to lead restaurant operations with a strong emphasis on staff development, customer experience, and profitability. The role requires directing daily activities, maintaining staffing, and ensuring quality and compliance while driving sales growth.

As a leader, you will train and mentor team members, plan schedules, and oversee food safety and hospitality standards while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week.
• Background check and motor vehicle report clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff through training and development plans and capstone program.
• Maintain staffing levels by sourcing, interviewing, hiring, retaining, and recognizing top performers.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicating expectations and adjusting as needed.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Drive sales and manage profitability while controlling labor costs and upholding standards.
• Foster a positive culture and healthy team morale by leading by example.
• Review performance and provide feedback; support manager performance reviews as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, laws, and safety procedures; maintain safety for guests and staff.
