Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a Property Manager for 21 Lux Apartments to oversee daily operations, leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and financial performance. You will lead a high-performing team and drive community success with a focus on excellent customer service and compliance with fair housing standards.

You'll develop marketing and leasing strategies, supervise leasing and maintenance staff, manage budgets, and prepare reports for senior management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in property management, real estate, customer service, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for residents, associates, vendors, and leadership.
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office.
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and financial performance.
• Lead leasing activities: tours, applications, screenings, lease prep, renewals, move-ins/outs.
• Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to attract residents and support retention.
• Ensure screening/leasing follows company policies and fair housing requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
• Oversee rent collection, renewals, and other resident account responsibilities.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure work orders, repairs, and make-readies are completed.
• Manage property financials: budgeting, expenses, invoicing, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain property records and leasing documentation.
• Monitor performance and report results to senior management and partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop leasing and maintenance staff.
