Job summary

Rolling Hills Healthcare is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Physical Therapist in resident care. The role emphasizes accurate documentation and safe, effective therapy.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state; CPR certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist nursing with training Restorative Aides; participate in care meetings as needed.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding goals and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home programs, and safety techniques.
