Job summary

ROLLINGHILLS in is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Physical Therapist with resident care at our facility. The role offers an hourly wage ranging from $30.00 to $37.00 based on experience, with duties centered on resident treatment, documentation, and collaborative care planning.

The PTA will maintain a safe treatment environment, participate in care conferences, and educate residents and families on home programs and safety strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state and maintain CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and payer requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate with supervising PT to update physicians, nursing staff, and families on progress and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides and facilitate mobility equipment orders.
