Job summary

Peace and Harmony Homecare LLC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a Physical Therapist, following established plans to aid mobility, strength, and pain reduction. You will support PTs in implementing care plans and guide patients through exercise programs in home care settings.

The role requires a PTA license, at least two years of PTA experience (preferably in home health), and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE of the APTA.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of two years experience as a PTA, preferably in home health care.
• Criminal background check & and other state required checks for compliance.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT in implementing individual patient care plans.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs for strength and ROM.
• Apply heat, light, water, and modalities to stimulate muscle/nerve function.
• Assist gait training to improve ambulatory skills.
• Record patient responses and progress in charts.
• Refer patients to PT for reevaluation as needed.
