Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages in a comprehensive PT program. The role includes designing care plans, educating patients and staff, and ensuring documentation aligns with CTSCP67 standards.

The position may provide a sign-on bonus and requires BLS within 30 days and ongoing stroke-care CE as part of professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) per IDFPR.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• Attend and satisfactorily complete stroke care CE.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transfers with proper body mechanics.
• Educate patients, families, and other health-care staff.
• Design an integrated plan of care with goals, treatment, and discharge.
• Evaluate clinical findings for PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Perform examinations with reliable methods relevant to the chief complaint.
• Document per CTSCP67 policy.
• Screen patients to determine therapy needs.
• Supervise and feedback on support personnel.
• Complete annual education for DNV Hip and Knee program, if applicable.
