Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients under physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards and applicable laws.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, active state licensure, CPR certification, and strong proficiency with Word, Excel, and email. One year of experience is preferred; new grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed/registered in the applicable state and maintain an active license.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT/PTA students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
