Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a PT to provide direct rehab care following physician referrals in a post-acute setting. The role requires an accredited PT degree and an active license in good standing.

New grads are welcome; CPR certification is required. You will participate in community health matters, collaborate across departments, and uphold Life Care standards in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT).
• Active state license in good standing; must be maintained.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification on hire or during orientation; must stay current.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify goals.
• Oversee care by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Assist in patient evacuation.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Move and lift as required during working hours.
• Read, write, speak English.
