Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) per state requirements.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of required continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients, designing a plan of care with goals and discharge planning.
• Educates patients, families, and staff using effective teaching methods.
• Performs examinations and documents findings and outcomes.
• Maintains documentation in the therapy EMR and coordinates with providers.
