Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes supervision of patients, rehab technicians, and PT assistants in line with state practice acts, while upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Education includes a Bachelor or higher in Physical Therapy with an active license; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Physical Therapy and an active PT license.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state.
• BLS certification required and current before patient care.
• Preferred 6–12 months experience with adult/geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accord with state practice acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
