PACS Group in California is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the physical therapy team in providing resident-focused care and implementing treatment plans. You will document progress, maintain safety and infection control, and communicate updates to the supervising PT and care team.

This on-site role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and families. The position requires an accredited PTA program, state licensure, CPR, and proficiency with Net Health and PCC;

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state.
• CPR certification, if required by licensure.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control protocols.
• Communicate with supervising PT and interdisciplinary team about progress, goals, and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safety.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides.
