Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.

• Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents under supervision by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safety.
• Assist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides.
