Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, modify plans of care, and serve as a clinical resource for staff and students. This role includes a sign-on bonus and requires active licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS within 30 days.

The candidate will design care plans, educate patients and families, and document outcomes in the EMR while collaborating with the care team to support optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Completion of continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient transfers with safe body mechanics.
• Treat and educate patients, families, and staff with empathy and care.
• Design and adjust plans of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Document progress and outcomes in the EMR as required.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and plan of care.
• Perform examinations using relevant methods.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure appropriate therapy.
