Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with sound professional judgment and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, and ICD-10 codes.
• Meets department productivity standards and manages schedules to meet patient needs.
• Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
• Offers professional development and education to other health care workers and participates in training.
• Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Ensures age/developmental appropriateness in patient care and keeps knowledge updated.
