Job summary

Atrium Health in High Point, NC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care and create effective treatment plans. You will evaluate patients, set functional goals, document outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality care.

Ensure adherence to policies, maintain productivity, and participate in education and process improvements to optimize patient outcomes. Relocation is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree from accredited occupational therapy school.
• Current licensure in the state.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and policies, promotes cooperative work environment.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Meets department productivity standards and adjusts schedules to patient needs.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Provides education to health care workers and presents on clinical topics.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other staff.
