Qualifications

• Graduated from accredited physical therapy program (B.S./M.S./D.P.T.)
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the applicable state
• CPR/BLS Level C certification

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment with comprehensive evaluations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
• Ensures documentation is legible and completes coding as appropriate.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Provides age/developmentally appropriate care and updates knowledge regularly.
