D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is looking for a Mortgage Loan Originator. The ideal candidate will promote business development while managing relationships with customers.

Your responsibilities include interviewing mortgage applicants, managing loan processes, and providing necessary loan disclosures. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and experience in mortgage banking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator as required by state.
• Possess general mortgage banking understanding.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand their financing options.
• Be accessible to the buyer and update them on their loan process.
• Maintain reports within the origination software.
• Review new leads daily and contact them.
• Manage the loan pipeline process.
• Make presentations on loan products.
• Quickly respond to Operations for a smooth loan process.
• Provide necessary disclosures to loan applicants.
• Conduct business ethically and professionally.
• Able to work overtime and travel if needed.
