Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience; preferably in hospital or physician office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Record vital signs and input/output data per policy.
• Report abnormalities and communicate status to licensed staff.
• Perform procedures under supervision (e.g., basic procedures) and support staff.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure charting is complete and accessible.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; assist with ordering when needed.
• Assist with patient transport and OR room turnover as assigned.
• Work under supervision in a fast-paced environment with focus on customer service.
