Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking an Operations Support Coordinator in Jeffersonville, IN to help coordinate all inbound and outbound truck movements and ensure proper documentation. This role serves as the primary contact for drivers and carriers, supporting wave orders and returns as needed.

Responsibilities include scheduling shipments via a TMS, managing BOLs, liaising with drivers and Saddle Creek staff, and generating essential operation reports.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience in a customer service, clerical, or client-facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carrier dispatch and clients’ drivers professionally in writing and verbally.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Manage Bills of Lading (BOLs) and act as liaison between drivers and Saddle Creek personnel.
• Assist warehouse leads and operations teams; generate and retain required reports.
• Wave orders, document returns and exchanges, and check in carriers for appointments.
• Verify receiving quality, timeliness, and accuracy of the process.
• Answer phones and order packaging or warehouse supplies as needed.
