Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company in Nashville is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction across a multifamily community. You will show apartments, process applications, and coordinate marketing and retention efforts.

The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations to deliver a positive living experience. You will use Yardi/OneSite and social platforms to attract residents, while maintaining accurate records and handling lease onboarding and renewals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of leasing, sales or customer service experience; property management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; property management software experience a must.
• Experience using social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service oriented with professional interaction with residents and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available apartments and amenities.
• Qualify leads, process rental applications, run background and credit checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Ensure units are move-in ready by inspecting them and coordinating with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages for a smooth onboarding.
• Design and implement marketing plans to generate traffic and maintain occupancy.
• Promote the community via digital platforms (Craigslist, Facebook, email campaigns).
• Coordinate resident referral programs and local networking efforts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and rental rates.
• Support resident retention through excellent customer service and timely responses.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in lease renewals and renewal documentation.
