Job summary

Camden Property Trust in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Leasing Consultant who serves as the first impression for prospects and residents. You will guide tours, process leases, and ensure a smooth move-in experience while supporting occupancy and retention goals.

You will apply strong communication, solve problems, and collaborate with team to plan resident events, while maintaining knowledge of community features and competitors to help residents choose Camden.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale and lease documents.
• Showcase the value of the community features as they relate to customer needs.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude to ensure a smooth renewal process for existing residents.
• Utilize marketing and social media strategies to increase property traffic.
• Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and judgment to handle unpredictable situations.
• Maintain knowledge of the community and competitors to inform residents’ decisions.
• Promote positive resident relations with timely responses to requests and concerns.
• Collaborate with team to plan and organize resident events.
