Job summary

Rock N Roll Sushi is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Staff member to help keep our back-of-house running smoothly in a fast-paced franchise environment. Wage: $11–$16 per hour based on experience.

You will support food prep, assist cooks, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure proper food handling. This role is hands-on and dynamic, with opportunities to learn and grow within KinSix Ventures LLC’s franchise network.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize kitchen stations with the necessary tools and equipment.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service.
• Wash, chop, shred, and prep ingredients as directed by management.
• Plate and garnish dishes according to Rock N Roll Sushi standards.
• Present food attractively and consistently.
• Store food correctly in cold storage and follow rotation procedures.
• Monitor inventory and restock items as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen throughout your shift.
• Assist with dishwashing and proper storage of clean items.
• Support cooks, chefs, and other team members as needed.
• Help unload deliveries and organize supplies.
• Follow all food hygiene, sanitation, and health code guidelines.
• Complete shared daily cleaning tasks.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Kitchen Manager.
